My Approach
My coaching approach is rooted in lived experience, faith, and practical structure. I guide clients through a holistic process that strengthens the mind, body, spirit, and daily lifestyle. Survivors don’t need more pressure. They need clarity, accountability, and simple routines that help them feel grounded again.
I work from the belief that cancer changes everything, but it doesn’t end your story. Survivorship is a rebuilding season, and my role is to help clients reclaim identity, reduce overwhelm, and create sustainable habits that support long-term healing. I use a blend of mindset coaching, lifestyle guidance, emotional support, and spiritual grounding to help clients move from fear and uncertainty toward confidence and purpose.
My philosophy is that healing is both internal and external. I help clients develop repeatable daily systems, strengthen their emotional resilience, and reconnect with what matters most. Whether someone is newly diagnosed, transitioning out of treatment, or navigating life years later, I meet them where they are and walk with them through the process of rebuilding.
I coach as someone who has lived it, learned from it, and now leads others through it.
About Me
I’m Gregory Jacob Jr., a prostate cancer survivor, educator, and certified cancer coach dedicated to helping individuals navigate the emotional, physical, and spiritual realities of cancer. After my own diagnosis and recovery, I committed my life to supporting others through the season that often feels the most overwhelming: life after treatment.
I’ve spoken at the American Urological Association (AUA), contributed to national survivorship conversations, and serve as a patient advocate with the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), including invitations to their Scientific Retreat and Patient Summit. I’m also the creator of the I Have Cancer, Now What? podcast and founder of Tried & Approved, where I teach simple, structured, faith-centered systems for healing and daily resilience.
My work blends lived experience, evidence-based coaching, and practical routines that help survivors regain clarity, confidence, and purpose. I coach because I know firsthand that survivorship is not the end. It’s the beginning of a new chapter.
